I can never come to the Easter season without remembering all that God has done for me. Every day, I give thanks to my Lord and Savior that He chose to restore me to good health and to give me a more focused life direction. As we recognize and honor the death and resurrection of Jesus, I am reminded that God renews each one of us every day. He allows us to wake up each morning and come back to life so that we can fulfill the purpose He has for us.
When I stop to think about what it means that God gave us Jesus so that we can draw near to His light, and shine in any way we can, I’m more grateful than words can say. I give God the glory for the ways He is still reshaping my life, and even restoring me to do His work, after my strokes back in 2007.
Let’s challenge ourselves this Spring to see what we can do to open doors so that others will come to know Him. Let’s open our eyes and see the amazing array of gifts and talents He has given us to share with one another. It is my prayer that we would open our hearts to be His servants, acting however He calls us to become beacons of light for those around us.
It’s Springtime! It’s time to breathe in the fresh air and the light of God’s love in a way that refreshes your soul and causes your spirit to rejoice. As you walk with God today, may you remember all that He has done to help strengthen your body and your mind and your heart so that you can shine for Him. Let Him see how grateful you are.
I am praying for you that God will bless you and keep you and let His face shine upon you in all that you do. Rejoice! The Lord Is risen!
He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.'”
